Mid Sussex District Council Summer Playday with our Sussex Green Living Eco Float
FREE family summer playday, full of fun for children, they can try their hand at lots of activities from eco crafts, recycling, remaking arts and games with us, to Tomfoolery tell jokes and doing magic, dance, sports, storytelling and more!

People’s Emergency Briefing Community Film Screenings
The People’s Emergency Briefing is a public information film about the climate and nature crisis, what it means for the UK, followed by structured discussion, to allow people to process what they have heard and find ways to engage positively around local community solutions.
The film was launched on 7th April 2026, designed for a UK audience there are thousands of screening taking place, find your nearest screening here.

12th October 10am – Billingshurst Women’s Hall, Billingshurst, RH149QX. Organised by Sussex Green Living and Surrey & Sussex Coppice Group.

Sussex Green Living HQ are in Horsham District, public screenings are being planned in the following HD towns Partridge Green and Colgate, keep an eye on the screening map.
Private screenings are being planned in the 6th forms of Farlington School, Christs Hospital School and Collyers College for staff and students, with a later screening for parents.
August 2026 The National Emergency Briefing’s new schools initiative is launched.
The aim is to help young people understand that they have a real voice in local & national politics, and to give them confidence to play an active role in shaping the future. Please share with teachers, sixth forms, colleges and anyone working with 16–18 year olds.
