Our Vision

We want to build a network of people working together to promote lifestyle changes that restore biodiversity, conserve resources and support sustainable food. We want to build a green Sussex.

Sussex Green Living will continue bringing communities together, supporting them in becoming strong, resilient and connected to enable local action, share knowledge and create lasting change.

Over the next three years, Sussex Green Living will grow our reach, strengthen collaboration and create more opportunities for people, schools and businesses to take practical action for the planet.

We will grow the Sussex Green Hub in Horsham, with its Repair Café, refill station and recycling activities, alongside pop-up events and new communications to engage more young people and families. We will continue working with 45+ schools, grow our Pollination Education Station network and develop new opportunities for young environmental leaders, helping to build knowledge, confidence and community resilience.

We will scale up practical solutions for a circular future, including pop-up refill services and support for new community hubs across Sussex. Through our Green Business Network, we will create more opportunities for businesses to fund, volunteer and take action locally, while working with organisations across Sussex and beyond to amplify climate and nature action.
