Beyond Refills – How You Can Get Involved

Storrington Refill is part of a wider local effort to make low-waste living the easy, everyday choice. Every refill you make supports a circular community where resources are reused, waste is reduced, and people share skills and ideas.

You can help this movement grow by:

  • Refilling regularly – make it part of your normal shop.
  • Spreading the word – tell friends, neighbours, and colleagues.
  • Volunteering – help run activities, promote the service, or share your expertise.
  • Connecting us with others – if you know a group or business that offers refill, repair, or recycling, encourage them to get involved.

The Dry Food Refill Service at Chanctonbury Leisure Centre was successfully launched on the 23rd July.

Thanks to funding from Biffa Award and West Sussex County Council, the team at SGL opened its first refill offering at the Chanctonbury Leisure Centre in Storrington. The support from everyone was truly motivating: – Thanks to Sarah and Georgia WSCC, Tay and Nicola from Horsham District Council, Tony Bevis, our Sussex councillors : Claudia, Fiona, Joan, working to keep the green agenda high on the local priorities list – and of course to everyone who can along during the opening hours.
