Volunteer with Us

Join the Green Revolution in Sussex!

The climate emergency affects us all – but here’s the empowering truth: every one of us has valuable skills and knowledge that can create positive change. By joining Sussex Green Living, you’ll become part of a dynamic community making real environmental impact right here in our region.

We offer diverse ways to make a difference:

Drive change with our iconic eco-ambassador – a beautifully retrofitted 1974 milk float that turns heads and starts conversations at community events
  • Share your passion at our monthly Sussex Green Hub, where we connect with neighbours and inspire sustainable living
  • Shape young minds through our school programmes, planting seeds of environmental awareness in the next generation
  • Professionals collaborate with us in our Green Business Network, lets work together to build a happy, healthy and fairer future.

Exciting new initiatives for 2025 will focus on:

New event and services in energy conservation and home retrofitting
  • Events and education about real, healthy food which is free from plastic packaging
  • Expanded our community outreach programmes

Your skills, enthusiasm, and time can help create a greener future for Sussex. Ready to join our movement? Meet us in person at the Sussex Green Hub, reach out through our contact form, or complete our volunteer survey here or by using the QR code.

Social Media Marketeer

Do you use a social media platform? We’re seeking proactive and enthusiastic community connectors to discreetly engage in the social media. The goal is to share ideas about lifestyle changes, possibly extracted from our newsletter or Facebook or Instagram, and to inspire individuals to take action and attend our monthly Sussex Green Hub and forthcoming events.

Nextdoor is a free, private social network that connects neighbours in a local community. It’s available in the United Kingdom and other countries. In the past, utilising this platform for volunteer recruitment has introduced fantastic new members to our tribe.
