Floral Fringe Fair
Saturday 31st August and Sunday 1st September The Loxwood Meadow, RH14 0AL, 10.30am – 5pm
A quirkier and more charming event you won’t find! This year’s theme is steampunk or vintage, or you could just wear a fabulous hat (though we do recommend additional clothing to avoid sunburn in delicate places!).
Expect wildlife stalls, fabulous food, and a beer tent! For those who prefer a different brew, the Tea Rooms await. Whether you’re into burgers, street food, ice cream, or vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options, there’s something for everyone.
And let’s not forget the music! 🎶
Sussex Green Living will be in residence on Sunday with our eco float. We will be sharing inspiring solutions, plus selling beautiful floral garlands made out of pre-loved silk flowers and stunning celebratory bunting made out of pre loved materials.

CPRE Sussex Countryside Day
Saturday 7th September, Knepp Estate, West Sussex, 10am-4pm
In its 2nd year, the CPRE Sussex Countryside Day is a celebration of everything that is good about the countryside. Knepp is the Sussex home to rewilding and host of the event positioned alongside their kitchen garden and restaurant.
We will be there with our 1974 retrofitted Eco (milk) Float with our dairy milk substitute refill service of Overherd oat powder. In addition to our new refill service we will continue to sell 400g and 800g bags. Also for sale remade silk flower garlands and pre-loved material celebratory bunting, plus colourful displays, eco games and more.

Climate Fresk Quiz at the Sussex Green Hub

At the September Hub Julie will be running a stand introducing Climate Fresk, an educational tool to help individuals learn more about Climate change and how we can tackle it. We will be running a Climate Fresk Quiz to get people talking about Climate Change and ask them to sign up for a full ‘Fresk’, a 3 hour fun and interactive workshop that helps people understand Climate Change and how we tackle it.
The facts in Climate Fresk are sourced from the most respected scientific publications: the IPCC reports. These are the same reports that inform global political and economic decision-making at the highest level.
Climate Fresk is neutral and objective and presents only established scientific facts. Climate Fresk is being used all over the world to engage and educate individuals, organisations & communities in better understanding Climate Change, realising it’s full impacts and empowering individuals to take action and bring about positive change.
So come along and take part in the quiz and learn more about Climate Fresk.
