Supporting the Climate and Nature in the Local elections
The local elections are coming up on Thursday 4th May and although climate action is now a priority for many voters, it still doesn’t get the air time it deserves. The South East Climate Alliance have launched a Climate and Nature Pledge Campaign to ensure that the environment is core to the decision making in local government.
By signing the pledge candidates are agreeing, if elected, to press their council to: Accelerate action, Boost partnerships, Communicate, and Divest from fossil fuels. More details behind the pledge and what it means can be found HERE.
Below are a list of Horsham District candidates that have signed the pledge. Is your local candidate on the list? Vote for Climate and Nature when you vote on 4th May.
