On Saturday 26th March 10 – 4pm our normal activities will be taking place at our once a month Sussex Green Hub in Horsham plus a fun extension to help you Spring into Spring!
Sunday 27th March is Mothering Sunday with Easter following along fast on its heals. so we are inviting children and adults to come along and make a Mother’s Day or Easter present on Saturday 26th, join us for a little creative upcycling and or planting easy to grow and popular vegetables, salad and herbs to take away as presents or to grow yourself.
Where: United Reformed Church, Horsham RH12 1PT (behind Wilko and opposite St John the Evangelist Hall). The creative Mum’s Day baskets or Easter present will take place in the meeting rooms at the URC. The planting activity will take place by our Inspiration Eco Station (1974 retrofitted milk float) and gazebo, which will be outside the URC hall in the car park.
Within the Sussex Green Hub on the last Saturday of each month you will find: our Horsham Repair Café, Sussex Green Living bottles refills (household cleaning products and personal hygiene), our friendly carbon clinic, learn about recycling with our recycling volunteers, free food being redistributed by the Horsham Community Fridge, Community Energy Horsham, Horsham Eco Churches and Transition Horsham giving advice and inspiration on gardening and holding a seed exchange, have a cuppa and cake in our community cafe.
- Plus every month our new carbon clinic – sit and enjoy a friendly non-judgemental chat about your lifestyle with ideas for changes to help people, pocket and planet. Attend once, periodically or monthly, a bit like Weight Watchers!

- We hope to be exhibiting the amazing textile work of the Sussex made “Coat of Hopes” which is a community creative project and went on a two months-long pilgrimage from Newhaven, East Sussex to the COP 26 United Nations Climate Change Conference in Glasgow, the coat has its own song which you will hear at the Sussex Green Hub! We are calling people who would like to contribute to a ‘Coat of Hope for Horsham’. Come and learn all about it.
