Big Recycling Bonanza in Brighton

The Green Centre BrightonSunday 29 July 2012 (11am-3pm)

Event Location: The Green Centre, 39 Manor Hill, Brighton, BN2 5EL

The Green Centre are asking you to bring your biros, blouses, handbags, hammers and spanners (and a whole lot of other materials) to their Big Recycling Bonanza on Sunday 29 July (11am-3pm).

The idea for the Green Centre evolved from The Green Workshop, a mobile teaching unit offering environmental education throughout Sussex. There was an increasing demand for services from the local community so a permanent site was needed, and the Green Centre opened on Manor Farm, East Brighton.

The event will explore different ways to make Brighton and Hove greener, and is supported by the City’s Community Waste Forum. There will music, food, tombola and recycling ideas – a perfect green day out.

Further information on what you can bring to be recycled can be found here.

We want you, the people of Sussex, to take some ownership of  www.sussexgreenliving.co.uk Forward your suggestions for events, videos, parks and green spaces etc to be added to “your” site.
