FREE Activities at Rampion Windfarm Visitor Centre
Rampion Windfarm Visitors Centre will be running FREE wind-related craft activities throughout the October half term week from Mon 28th Oct to Friday 1st Nov. 10am – 3pm each day, as well as having information and videos for adults to learn more about Rampion.
Fun for the whole family!
MONDAY 28th: Art theme
TUESDAY 29th: Wind races
WEDNESDAY 30th: Recycled crafts
THURSDAY 31st: Halloween Art theme
FRIDAY 1st: Wind races and Recycling
Story time
They also have a dedicated toddler session on Mon, Wed and Friday mornings from 10am – 11am, which will include story time and art activities.
Location: 76-81 Kings Road Arches, Brighton, the centre is in-between the i360 and the Flour Pot Bakery.
Sussex Green Living offer FREE climate education – assemblies and lessons for West Sussex Schools
We have been awarded a Rampion Offshore Wind grant to fund this eduction in schools in Worthing and Lancing.
These are the themes we offer:
- Love Clothes and Planet
- Energy Forever
- Plastic Free Sea
Each of these sessions includes:
- How the carbon cycle works
- The atmosphere and ozone
- Data analysis associated with climate change
- C02 emissions and energy consumption
These assemblies and lessons are available in other counties but a fee applies. Learn more here.
