The Family Festival for 2014!
Elderflower Fields Festival
23rd – 26th May 2014
With a wet winter behind us and the arrival of the spring, now is the time to get this great event in your diary. Elderflower Fields Festival is an idyllic way to spend the weekend with the entire family. Super Early Bird tickets are all sold out although there are still Early Bird offers available for a limited time only.
So book your tickets now for this fantastic family friendly festival in Sussex.
Located at new venue Ashdown Forest over the 23rd-26th May, the Elderflower Fields Festival has been completely designed for families with young kids in mind, allowing parents to relax in the knowledge that their kids are not only looked after but learning new skills from Fire making to Parkour, from archery to learning a new musical instrument.
With urban woods, sports camps, creative arts workshops, environmental activities and new teen focussed events on site, the Elderflower Fields Festival is designed to keep boredom at bay for kids and young teens for the entire weekend. And with new partnerships with The Arts Award, John Muir Trust and Sport Englands SpoGo initiatives kids can continue to enjoy what they started at Elderflower throughout the year. Although it’s not all about them; with more than 40 bands on two stages, a woodland spa, cocktail bar and family picnic with Sussex produce, the whole family is catered for.
Nigel Greenwood, cofounder of SO SUSSEX – the company behind the festival – says: “We have kept ticket prices as low as possible and all of the sports, arts and environmental activities are included in the ticket price, so there are no hidden costs over the weekend. We are really proud of how quickly this festival has grown and are incredibly touched to see the enthusiasm of local producers in providing the food, drink and entertainment. Elderflower Fields believe in supporting the local economy and protecting and promoting the beautiful Sussex countryside so as much of the infrastructure, food and drink as possible is sourced from within Sussex.”
Camping is included in the ticket price at Elderflower Fields and there will be spacious, designated campsites close to the action, giving kids a taste of the great outdoors but with all facilities close by, and there are glamping options too.
